Your “Techy” Duties for Virtual Tours

  1. The unit schedulers will send out a group email with the requested dates for a tour.
    Indicate through the group email if you are available any of the dates to support a virtual tour
    guide. Confirm with the guide that you will be the tech support for the tour.
    Within 2 weeks, you will be contacted by the virtual tour guide to let you know the specific
    time for the tour that was arranged with the teacher
  2. Confirm if the tour will use the UTG Zoom account, or if the teacher would like to use
    the school’s zoom account. (If using the school account, the teacher will need to make you
    and the guide hosts so you can share your screen with your slides.)
  3. Schedule a meeting time for the tour on our Zoom account.
  4. Within 7-10 days of the tour:Make sure the guide’s slides are accessible to you through Google Docs
    Review any details with your guide
  5. For the tour
    Open the meeting
    Open the guide’s tour on Google Docs
    Let the guide and teacher in
  6. Have fun!
